Spira Mirabilis is just been published and is already under the spotlighton Over the Effing Rainbow, while upcoming4.me calls the Wave Trilogy ”one of the most enjoyable alternative history series of recent times” in its Spira Mirabilis RevewMeanwhile, the US publication of Irenicon means a whole new wave (ho ho) of readers like Novelnaut.

Here is my interview with Janet Emson reflecting on finishing the trilogy, and, in case you haven’t had enough, this is a guest post for sfsignal on the pressing question of the relevance of medieval mercenaries.

“Harte has successfully avoided “the middle book in the trilogy trap” by completely changing his direction. “The Warring States” feels fresh and judging by Harte’s track record so far, “The Wave Trilogy” might be one of the best alternate history series in recent times.” That’s from a review of The Warring States by Upcoming4.me.

Book 1, Irenicon, is now out in the US, has been selected as one of Amazon’s Fantasy/SF picks for April 2014.
